# Changing Period of Sample Size

Hello,

In Guidebook 5, under “Configuring our Bristlemouth Application,” we are trying to turn on Smart Mooring for 10 minutes at a time. We input all the cfg codes and receive the correct responses, but when we look at the data collected by the mote our sample buffers are 15 samples long instead of the 300 we’re trying to program it to be. Instead of being over 300, the fraction is out of 15. Has this happened to anybody else? What should we do?
