Spotter on multiple accounts

Hi All

Is it possible to share a spotter to other accounts? Or are you only able to view a spotter on a single account?

Hi @HendrikJvR - Yes!

The simplest way is to:

  1. Open the “SETTINGS” page for the Spotter you want to share

  2. Toggle “Share Data” on
    image

=> This will create public view-only URLs for the Spotter you shared and one for all shared Spotters on your account. These links will not require login, so can be shared with anyone regardless of whether they have a Sofar account.

If you need to share view access to another Sofar account without making it publicly accessible, you can contact support@sofarocean.com.

Thank you @evan. We’re going to use a single account while we fiddle and play with our first spotter.
